Our story

We are Antonio and Josie – husband and wife, and the heart behind
San Valentino, our Italian pasticceria in Sydney.


Born in the same small town in Italy and reunited in Sydney, we built
San Valentino as a love letter to the flavours, rituals, and hospitality
we grew up with.

In our kitchens, tradition meets craft. We honour time-honoured methods, use considered ingredients, and refine every detail, from the first fold of dough to the final flourish of decoration. The result is pastry that feels both classic and current: beautiful to look at, memorable to share.

What began as a family dream has grown into a Sydney destination for celebration. Whether you visit us in Haberfield, Westfield Sydney (City),
or Kogarah, you’ll find the same warmth, care, and Italian welcome.
From signature cakes and custom commissions to daily pastries and espresso, our team is here to turn simple moments into something special.

Enjoyed very much their coffee and cake afterwards which you can order from the cake/pastry bar. Smooth tasting coffee. Gelato also available. Staff are friendly and you get a little experience of Italy as you hear conversations in Italian. Nice bright shop - head a good atmosphere."
